He Tohutohu — Tips for Learning

💡 Tip 1

Practice a new kupu each day at breakfast or dinner. Make it part of your family routine — consistency is key to language learning!

💡 Tip 2

Label objects around the house in te reo Māori. Sticky notes on the tēpu (table), matapihi (window), and tatau (door) are a great start!

💡 Tip 3

Sing the words! Combining kupu with waiata helps tamariki remember vocabulary in a fun and joyful way. Visit our Waiata page for songs to sing together.
