About Our Centre
Te Puna Reo o Ngā Kākano provides a warm, nurturing Māori language immersion environment for tamariki from birth to school age.
Our programme is grounded in te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and a play-based curriculum that supports every child's holistic development.
We are fully licensed and operate under the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008.
Age & Hours
Age group: 0–5 years (until school age)
Operating hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
20 Hours ECE: We are a 20 Hours ECE provider. Children aged 3–5 years are eligible for up to 20 hours of free ECE per week.

What to Expect
When you enrol your child, you become part of our whānau community. We encourage active participation from whānau in our centre's life and activities.
Our kaiako use te reo Māori as the primary language of instruction throughout the day, helping tamariki develop strong language foundations.

Visit the Centre
We invite you and your tamaiti to visit Te Puna Reo, meet our kaiako, and experience our environment before making a decision.

Once a place is confirmed, you will receive our full enrolment pack including health and emergency contact forms, and our policies.

We offer a gentle settling-in process so your tamaiti can feel safe, comfortable, and happy in their new learning environment.
